Description
At an elevation of 966 meters, this site is occasionally used for short flights. Before flying here, it is recommended to contact the control tower at Fagernes Airport. The approach path for airplanes is directly over the ski center.
The launch site is located midway down the slope, at the southernmost track. You can drive almost all the way to the launch site year-round. Follow the toll road (20 NOK) up to Danebu, continue towards the 'cabin town,' and drive down a bit through the area with luxury cabins. From there, you can enter the ski slope and walk down to the launch site (approximately 4 minutes on foot). Coordinates will be provided at a later time.
During the summer, land on the football field at the bottom of Aurdals-bygda. In winter, there are many fields to choose from for landing.
