Important: The Papillon FlyCard does not grant permission to take off and fly at this site. It is only valid for flights at Papillon sites in Elpe, Wirmighausen, and Stormbruch.
Landing Zone: The landing field at Stüppel has been changed. Do not land on the 'Schlammteich'. Top landing on the meadows on the mountain is strictly prohibited.
Take-off: The NO take-off site can only be reached on foot via the Bestwiger hiking trail south of the parking area. The landing zone is the same as for the NW take-off. If you do not gain altitude after take-off, turn left immediately. An emergency landing site is located approximately 400 meters below the take-off point and is marked with a windsock.
Special Note: The landing zone is not visible from the take-off point. The distance to the landing zone is 1.2 km, so it is crucial to inspect it before ascending. Pay particular attention to the two high-voltage power lines that encircle the landing zone to the west and north, which must be considered during landing maneuvers.
Do not enter the adventure area on the mountain.
