Description
The launch site is situated at an elevation of 2035 meters with a height difference of 1295 meters. This site is occasionally used and offers some opportunities for soaring and cross-country flights, making it suitable for leisure flights.
Main launch direction: NE-NW (Bise)
Landing site: Blumenstein, 740 meters above sea level
Access: Take the cable car to Stockhorn. Pass the Stockhorn-South launch site and continue following the hiking trail. After 250 meters, the trail turns right towards Walalp. A few meters further is the launch site. Note that the terrain is steep with very limited abort options, making it suitable only for experienced pilots. If wind conditions are unfavorable, you can hike down to Walalp, where there are easier launch options.
