Parapente Strandbjerggård Rågeleje

The site features a long ridge, ideal for soaring. The slope is approximately 40 meters high and stretches for 6 kilometers. Both the start and landing conditions are suited for experienced pilots. You can take off from the top or the beach. When landing on the beach, head to the gorge and follow the road up, as stepping on the slope is prohibited. If the wind conditions are favorable, you can cross the gorge located to the left of the starting point, allowing you to utilize several kilometers of slope. If the wind is not right or not strong enough, it is advisable to stay on the right side of the gorge. Be aware that there is significant activity with model planes here, often gliders, which are silent and may not be easily noticeable. Park in the public parking area on the road between Rågeleje and Vejby. Coming from Rågeleje, the parking area is on the left side of the road. From there, cross the road and follow the public footpath sign to Strandbjerggård. After passing the farm, take the path to the left through the orchard towards the water. Note that the gated community with a flat grassy field next to the slope must not be used. Instruction and paragliding schools are not permitted at this site.
