Description
This site in Sealand, Denmark, is a frequently used and uncomplicated spot for soaring, kiting, and playing around on a long, grassy dune. It's a great place for beginners, although no school training is allowed here. The site record is 6.8 km, making it one of the best places in the north of Sealand for paragliding.
The takeoff area is located on a grassy patch behind the beach sand. You can pull up your glider and ground handle it about 25 meters west on the top of the hill before taking off from the highest point. The landing area is a large grassy field right in front of the takeoff spot.
To get there, you can park your car at a nearby campsite, which is about 500 meters from the takeoff area.
Weather conditions to be aware of include a wind direction from NW to NNW, with a minimum wind speed of approximately 5 m/s.
