Description
Holm is a rarely used paragliding site, primarily for soaring. It is of interest mainly to pilots already in Stenungsund who, for some reason, prefer to get airborne in the vicinity. For more information, you can contact Peter Loeskow.
Type of site: Ridge soaring (Hang)
License requirement: Pilot 1
Wind directions: South (S)
Height difference: 65 meters
Maximum flight height: 455 meters
How to get there: Take the northern entrance to Stenungsund from the highway. After the entrance to the vehicle inspection on the right side, you will see the meadow and the hill.
Launch info: The launch area is a rock slab with some grass tufts, fairly simple. There are rumors that kites have been flown here at some point.
Landing info: Below the tree line, there is a grass field that widens towards the west.
Comments: Not a true ridge soaring site, more suitable for short flights down the slope.
