Description
At an elevation of 1091 meters, this site is regularly used for soaring. There is now a chairlift that takes you all the way to the top.
For takeoff, there are excellent spots facing east and northeast, providing a great ridge soaring experience. On the south-southwest side, it's best to start a bit below where the chairlift ends.
For landing, you can easily touch down right next to Vikingland Afterski, where you can also grab a log beer. Alternatively, landing on the golf course on the other side of Peer Gynt Road is also a good option.
Please avoid landing on the flat area near the chairlift; aim to land as far away from crowded areas as possible. If you're unsure about where to land, consult with the staff on site.
For flights heading west, you will need to use the angle lift.
