Description
Hinterglemm, Austria offers a paragliding site at an altitude of 1969 meters with a height difference of 840 meters. This site is considered easy and is regularly used, though less frequently than the southeast start. It is ideal for leisure flights.
In the summer, you can enjoy walk & fly activities, while in the winter, a ski lift is available. The takeoff point in Saalbach-Hinterglemm is suitable for south to east winds. You can either use the steep slope next to the restaurant or walk down 200 meters from the lift station to a round hill for an easier takeoff.
To reach the takeoff, take the Zwölferkogelbahn lift up and walk straight down for about 150 meters. The usual takeoff direction is to the south or southeast.
