Description

Takeoff is located below the Golf Club, on the dunes. There are many holiday houses directly at the ridge, so it's important to maintain respect and distance. Flying is generally not recommended during the holiday season. Region: Denmark Site record: 5.6 km (Charlesvej / Golf Club) Public access is available, with starting points around the golf course or in the cottage area. The slope is approximately 30 meters high and 2.9 kilometers long. There are two good starting places: 1. The best starting place is behind the golf club, offering plenty of room for top start and landing in the direction of 240 degrees. This spot is suitable for less experienced pilots. 2. The second starting place is in the cottage area where the ridge is slightly lower, facing southwest. Launching can be done from above or below, but this spot is recommended for experienced pilots only. Directions: From Kalundborg, drive along the coastal road (Røsnæsvej) towards Ulstrup. After passing Nostrup, you will see Kalundborg Golf Club on your left. Turn left onto Charlesvej and follow it until the road turns 90 degrees to the right and becomes Sydvej. You can park at the end of Charlesvej, which is about 600 meters diagonally down to the left to the start spot behind the golf club. For detailed maps, refer to the provided links. The starting point in the cottage area is at the end of Sandlodsvej. Sandlodsvej ends in a left loop, and at the far end of the loop, there is a path down the slope starting from house no. 81.
