Landing is typically done on one of the meadows in the valley near Randazzo or somewhere close to the road.
To reach the site, take the S 116 from Randazzo towards Capo d'Orlando. At kilometer 7.7, shortly after Sta. Domenica Vittoria, you'll find Ristorante Da Marianna. Below the restaurant, a rough road leads up to the launch site. Access is only possible with an off-road vehicle. On foot, it takes about 30-45 minutes to cover the 150 meters of elevation gain to the launch site. Follow the steep road to the right, pass through the first iron gate and the picnic area. At the upper gate, turn left and follow the ridge to the antenna.
The launch site is beautifully situated in the Monti Nebrodi, opposite Mount Etna. The large launch meadow makes for easy take-offs, and Italian championships have been held here. However, the site is seldom used, likely due to the challenging access road. Keys for the two iron gates on the ascent can be obtained from Ristorante Da Marianna if needed.
