This site is rarely used and primarily suitable for soaring.
To reach the launch point, park north of Ramberg where the 60-zone ends. Follow the tractor road upwards to Vassdalen. Continue along the path/valley until it turns left. Instead, take the path to the right and ascend the ridge on the right to start on the northwest side. The area has fine heather to lay out your wing. There are plenty of grassy fields and a vast beach for landing. More experienced pilots can aim for the roundabout. It is also possible to start lower down in northerly winds.
