Description
At an altitude of 2900 meters, this paragliding site is rarely used and considered difficult. It offers high alpine soaring, especially with northwest to west winds, and is also suitable for cross-country flights. The cable car operates in winter.
Winter:
Takeoff 1:
Take off from the right side of the mountain station (facing uphill). If the wind is too strong, you can switch to Takeoff 2.
Takeoff 2:
Take off a few meters below the mountain station on the left side (facing uphill). Land south of the valley station next to the slope. Good wing handling is required as the takeoff is between the cable car and power lines in unprepared terrain. It is advisable to prepare in the wind shadow of the mountain station.
Summer:
Takeoff 3:
Walk approximately 15 minutes from the landing site up to the Spion.
