At an elevation of 1778 meters with a height difference of 557 meters, this site is frequently used and offers easy cross-country flying. While it may not match the grandeur of Roldanillo for big triangles, it provides a more relaxed experience and is flyable all day long. This makes it one of the best paragliding locations in Colombia if you're not solely focused on big triangles.
The site is flyable year-round, and if you bomb out, a second flight is possible. It offers nice cross-country opportunities and easy landings. It's an excellent spot for warm-up flights before heading to Roldanillo, located just half an hour from Cali International Airport. The site is protected from the Pacific wind, features soft thermals, and has a good, easy, grassy takeoff area with a huge official landing zone. Access is convenient with a 4x4 vehicle, and toplanding is possible.
Located in the Valle del Cauca region of Colombia, near El Cerrito Town, the site offers great thermic flights over a wide valley. The local community is friendly, and the area is secure, making it a must-fly site in Colombia. The site record is 118.0 km, and it is known for its excellent conditions for thermic flights.

The site features multiple well-maintained take-offs with quick access, a large beginner-friendly landing area, and a stunning rainforest mountain backdrop. Unlike Roldanillo, there are no obstructing power lines or dangerous sea breezes in the afternoon, allowing for all-day flying into the sunset.
Takeoff is the main launch at Piedechinche, which is large and grassy, with a bar available on weekends. The official landing zone is well-defined, and the maximum altitude is 2400 meters. The last part of the road to the site requires a 4WD vehicle.
