To reach the launch site, take the cable car from Anzère to Pas de Maimbré. The launch area is a moderately steep grassy hill. The takeoff window faces southeast and is of medium difficulty. Soaring is possible with west winds, and cross-country flights can be made towards Savièse or Montana. In the late afternoon, you can climb thermodynamically along the western slopes and catch thermals above the Scex-Rouge summit. Landing is possible in Ayent, requiring a glide ratio of 4.5. Be cautious of the cable car wires and the controlled airspace (CTR) of Sion Airport.
