This paragliding site offers a medium difficulty level with an elevation ranging from 1420 to 1560 meters. It is rarely used but provides a beautiful evening flight over Lake Sarnen.
The take-off area is oriented towards the north and northwest. The starting point is at an altitude of 1560 meters, and there is no cable car available to reach it. The coordinates for the take-off location are 8.27036493, 46.85360757.
To reach the take-off site, you will need to hike for approximately 60 minutes. Start from Sarnen-Flüeliranft, follow Wolfisbergstrasse to Balm Pt. 1025, and then take the footpath via Unter Büelen Alp to the take-off area above the Ober Büelen alpine hut. The take-off site is an alpine meadow.
