Description
This site is occasionally used for paragliding, with opportunities for soaring and mini cross-country flights. The launch is a small, sharp cliff start, located a level down to the left of the flag at the top. It features thermal ridge soaring. Be cautious, as the landing area is tricky and difficult, consisting of a narrow strip between the road and the water.
Peter L. advises caution with winds from the right at the launch site; the stronger the wind, the more dangerous it becomes. Check the wind direction using the windsock installed on the mountain at Nötetången.
