Laguna Peak offers a unique paragliding experience with a takeoff point from a paved road. The site is primarily used for hike and fly, with occasional soaring opportunities. Most flights here are enjoyable sled rides down to Mugu Beach. Access to the site is via Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) west of Malibu. Due to its location within a military zone, flying is restricted to weekends only. It is crucial to avoid flying near the microwave tower for safety reasons. For access, you need to contact John Thee or Claude Fiset. Please adhere to the guidelines: do not fly during the week, do not fly past the PCH, and avoid the microwave towers.
