Description
Located in the picturesque region of Muro Lucano, Italy, this paragliding site offers a takeoff altitude of either 800 meters or 950 meters. The elevation difference from takeoff to landing is 550 meters or 700 meters, respectively. The site faces north, northeast, and northwest, making it suitable for various wind conditions.
The best flying conditions are typically thermal or restitution. Pilots have reached a maximum altitude of 3200 meters above sea level here. Both paragliders and hang gliders can take off from this site. The takeoff area is accessible after a steep 20-minute walk.
Soaring is regularly practiced here, and cross-country flights are possible. Top landing is also an option. For landing, you can touch down anywhere in the valley near the main road.
