This site is frequently used for soaring flights. It features a very beautiful mountain ridge/gravel pit with thermal influences (see photo). There are launch ramps facing South and Southwest.

- Large ramp facing Southwest
- Small ramp facing West
It is possible to launch when the wind is coming from the south, but it becomes very turbulent. The turbulence increases drastically with stronger winds.
