Access: - Drive to Sarnen, head towards Brünig, Lungern. - At the village exit (traffic light), turn right towards Obsee to the cable car parking lot. - Take the cable car in two sections to Schönbüel. - Landing options include Lungern Obsee near the parking lot or a meadow by the lake (windsock present). Remarks: - The launch site is right by the mountain station. - The area is popular in winter as a ski resort. - Good thermal conditions can lead to cross-country flights towards Pilatus, Interlaken, or Haslital. - Lungern by the lake offers a campsite and a family-friendly lakeside bath.
