Description
The site features a steep slope with a vertical displacement of around 90 meters, making it suitable for both slope soaring and thermal flying, particularly in northern winds. The launch area is located just before the town of Karnobat.
If you are traveling on the Burgas-Sofia road, you will need to turn left at the station before reaching the city. Follow the dirt road that leads to the foot of the slope. From there, you can take a path up to the launch site. Alternatively, you can reach the launch directly by car via a dirt road that starts from the Gypsy neighborhood in the city.
