Description
Located in the Hedmark region of Norway, this paragliding site offers a launch altitude of 1113 meters. It is not frequently used but provides good cross-country potential heading east. The site record is an impressive 165.2 km, with a west-facing takeoff. It is approximately 30 minutes from Trysil.
To reach the site, drive from Jordet towards Eltdalen. Follow the roads until you reach a gravel road. Continue along this gravel road until the mountain is on your right side. Park near the cabin area. From there, you can follow a gravel road partway up before taking a trail towards 'promillegropa.' The hike to the launch site takes about 45 minutes.
