Description
Skurufjellet offers three distinct ridges for soaring, located next to Trysilfjellet. One ridge faces southwest with an elevation difference of around 50 meters, another faces north with a similar elevation, and a longer ridge faces southeast with an elevation difference of about 100 meters. The terrain is very uneven, with many large rocks that can snag lines, making it primarily a winter site. However, it is still possible to find launch sites during the summer. Skurufjellet is a separate peak from Trysiltoppen, where the ski resort is located. Several kilometers separate Skurufjellet from the nearest lift, so Skistar's ban on speedriding does not affect activities at Skurufjellet.
