You might even spot a pair of eagles as you soar through the lush mountain air before landing back in Gampel. The best times to fly are in the mornings and evenings, primarily during the summer season. The flight area offers stunning views to the east towards Simplon and to the west into the Lower Valais, making for beautiful flights either in the early morning or late evening.
