Jeizinen, located in the heart of the Rhone Valley, offers a unique paragliding experience with multiple launch sites for both hang gliders and paragliders. This area is regularly used and provides opportunities for soaring and cross-country flights. The site is an excellent alternative to the popular paragliding center in Fieschertal.
You can easily reach Jeizinen by taking the cable car from Gampel. Once there, you can enjoy solo or tandem flights, taking in the breathtaking panorama of the Valais Alps. You might even spot a pair of eagles as you soar through the lush mountain air before landing back in Gampel.
The best times to fly are in the mornings and evenings, primarily during the summer season. The flight area offers stunning views to the east towards Simplon and to the west into the Lower Valais, making for beautiful flights either in the early morning or late evening.
