Description
Jedi Jump is a paragliding site located approximately 1500 feet above the Tooele Valley, offering stunning views of the Great Salt Lake and surreal desert scenery. This site is primarily used for thermal soaring in light wind conditions and is occasionally visited by pilots. The launch faces north and is mainly a ridge lift site with occasional thermals, providing opportunities for both short sunset flights lasting around 7-10 minutes and longer flights with potential to gain altitude.
The site has good downwind conditions towards the south and offers cross-country (XC) potential. It features a 1200-foot ridge and thermal lift, making it suitable for advanced pilots (H2-P2 and above).
