Best Conditions
Description
Located at an altitude of 2100-2200 meters, this paragliding site offers medium to difficult flying conditions. The site is occasionally used and is known for its panoramic flights and potential for cross-country (XC) flying. There are multiple take-off options available.
The hike to the take-off point takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Talstation Weglosen. The take-off area is an alpine launch site, suitable only for pilots who are confident in their footing and take-off skills. The best flying conditions are typically found from summer to autumn.
The take-off window faces west and is considered difficult. The launch site is a steep meadow, requiring careful preparation and execution.
To reach the take-off point, take the aerial cableway from Weglosen to Hoch Ybrig. From there, follow the hiking trail to Trittlipass, continue to Saedel, and finally arrive at the launch site.
