Description
This location is a training hill situated at an elevation of 323 meters with a height difference of 45 meters.
To get there, drive towards Koppang. Keep to the right and follow the signs for Gamle Kongevei, Hammarkollen. Park your car in the designated area outside the farm. Walk through the farm and follow the path across the field to reach the top. Itâs a short 3-minute walk.
The landing zone is in the field below the hill. Please be considerate during the growing season. (Efforts are being made to secure an agreement for this.)
From the landing zone, it's a short walk up Kongeveien back to your car, or you can opt for another flight. This site has potential for ridge soaring when the valley wind is from the south.
