Description
The paragliding site in Ramsthal, operational since April 2014, is still in its trial phase and requires strict adherence to regulations. All pilots must undergo a mandatory briefing. The site is officially approved but is still being established, and its terrain can cause various turbulences. Therefore, flying is currently restricted to experienced pilots. Guest paragliding is limited to neighboring clubs, while guest hang gliding is allowed for experienced pilots only after a briefing.
Access to vineyard paths is permitted solely for hang gliders to transport their equipment. Parking in the vineyard area is strictly prohibited. Hang gliders must return their vehicles to the village after transport. The walk to the launch site from the village takes only a few minutes. The connecting road between Euerdorf and Ramsthal must be overflown with a minimum distance of 50 meters.

Regulations:
1. The road from Euerdorf to Ramsthal (KG 4) must be overflown with a vertical and horizontal minimum distance of 50 meters.
2. Every pilot must be briefed by the site holder or an appointed person before their first flight to familiarize themselves with local specifics.
3. Launches are only permitted with a headwind component of at least 10 km/h. The site is unsuitable for zero-wind launches due to insufficient takeoff run distance.
4. Training flights as part of altitude flight training are only allowed with radio communication and direct supervision by a flight instructor at the launch site.
