Flight to Unterterzen: Note that the old landing site is under construction and closed. Experienced pilots can find some fields near the valley station for landing, provided they are mowed. 2. Flight to Walenstadt: To climb up to the Churfirtsten after crossing the valley, you need to gain some altitude on the Flumserberg side. 3. Flight to Flums: Requires some thermals and can be extended via Prodkamm for the next flight. 4. Route along the relief: A visit to Sonnenhalde near Flums is always an option. It gets tricky with Föhn winds or when ships on Lake Walen suddenly reef their sails, which can happen quickly. In such cases, it's advisable to land higher up.
