Description
The Dejret ridge on Mols head offers a challenging paragliding experience for the seasoned pilot. The ridge stands at approximately 25 meters high and stretches 1.2 kilometers long. The site is characterized by numerous trees and bushes, with limited or no beach area, making it a medium-difficult location to navigate.
Wind conditions range from 20 to 35 km/h. The launch area is small and surrounded by vegetation, with no landing options directly below. Pilots should start their flight from the lower open area with scattered vegetation, preferably on the right-hand side where there is more beach space.
This is a sensitive flying area, so it is crucial to fly with respect and stay just in front of the trees, as shown in the provided video. It is advisable to avoid flying during the holiday season to minimize disturbances. Always avoid flying over houses and be mindful of the fact that the slopes are privately owned. When in doubt, consult with local pilots for guidance.
To reach the site, take Dejret-Skødshovedvej via Skårhavvej. From Aarhus, follow the main route 15 to Mols, then proceed to Dejret on Mols head.
