Despite its average height, the site offers excellent coastal soaring conditions. The sea breeze provides sufficient lift for enjoyable evening flights. Both paragliders and hang gliders are welcome.
Be cautious of rotor danger when there are strong winds.
To reach the takeoff point, drive from Motril towards Almeria. After passing Torrenuevo, turn left before the small tunnel and follow the path past the greenhouses to the start point. If coming from Motril, turn left before the tunnel and drive through the plantation to the takeoff area.
