At an elevation of 2490 meters, this paragliding site is accessible via a 20-minute walk from the Jakobshorn cable car. Located in the Graubünden region of Switzerland, it is occasionally used for soaring and some cross-country flights. The site offers multiple take-off options in most directions except south.
The take-off area is oriented towards the north, northeast, and northwest, making it easy for pilots of all skill levels. The terrain ranges from flat to steep with no significant obstacles, ensuring a smooth launch. The coordinates for the take-off point are 9.84969086, 46.77991369.
During the summer, you can reach Brämabüel on foot from Jakobshorn in about 20 minutes. This route is particularly rewarding when there are strong valley winds, often resulting in hours of dynamic soaring flights. The launch area is located next to an old hut equipped with a windsock.
