Description
The Bözingenberg site is located approximately 15 minutes by car from Biel, Switzerland. This site is frequently used for paragliding, especially when the wind at Chasseral is too strong. It offers good soaring conditions and the potential for cross-country (XC) flights.
The take-off area is situated at an elevation of 920 meters. The launch direction is south, and the difficulty level is considered medium. The take-off site is a large, flat meadow.
To reach the take-off point, drive from Biel towards Bözingenberg. Just before the turnaround point, a natural road branches off to the left. Follow this road on foot to the take-off area, which is about a 5-minute walk.
For safety and regulations, pay attention to the local club's notice board, especially regarding TMA Basel and CTR Grenchen airspaces.
