Paragliding Black Beauty

Located in Kumbharpada village, Virar East, just 5 kilometers from Virar station, this paragliding site offers a fantastic flying experience almost every day. The ridge's highest point is 750 feet, with takeoff heights from ground level at 400 feet and from sea level at 450 feet. There are multiple takeoff areas along the ridge, though they are relatively small. The site is flyable in North West, West, and South West wind directions. The landing area is an open ground that requires some planning to reach, as you need to cross a road. Less experienced pilots may find it tricky to land if they miss the designated landing zone. You can fly here all year round except during the monsoon season. The site is ideal for ground handling practice and small hops, with motorable access to the landing area. A large tree provides shade for resting. The site is excellent for soaring in West North West wind directions, and experienced pilots can soar for hours.
