Paragliding Alpwiesen am Mattstock

This paragliding site is located in the Amden region of Switzerland, with an altitude ranging from 1560 to 1750 meters. It is occasionally used and is suitable for walk/fly activities. Soaring and cross-country (XC) flights are possible here. There are many take-off options, with the primary take-off point situated at approximately 1570 meters. The site features steep alpine meadows above Alp Walau. To reach the take-off point, head from the mountain station towards Mattstock, which takes about 30 minutes. Flight Path: Fly along the southeast flank of Mattstock towards the antenna at Durschlägi. Be cautious of cables in this area. After precipitation, if there is valley wind, first head towards Weesen before proceeding to the landing point near the train station.
