From Churwalden, take the chairlift to Alp Stätz. From there, it's a short hike to the launch site, which is a steep meadow.
Flight
From Alp Stätz, you can connect to the Fanas-Davos-Flims triangle under good conditions. Alternatively, enjoy soaring at the Alp. Leisure flights to Parpan or Lenzerheide are also easily achievable.
Difficulty
The Föhn wind can be turbulent. The valley wind from the north is also challenging in mid-year. Landing near Valbella can often be quite turbulent.

Respect wildlife reserves. For more information, contact the mountain station or the Lenzerheide flight school at 079 430 70 30.
Soaring Conditions: In winter, you can soar in icy conditions at the Alp when the Bise wind blows.
Cable Car: Churwalden Bergbahnen
Two chairlifts (http://www.churwalden.ch/bergb_dt.htm) take winter sports enthusiasts to a challenging ski area.
