The launch site at Alp Languard, located in the Graubünden region of Switzerland, is occasionally used and offers some potential for cross-country flights. The take-off area is a steep grassy slope situated above the mountain station near the water reservoir. It can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes (100 meters elevation gain) from the mountain station towards Chamanna Segantini.
Alp Languard is a high alpine flying area with often complex wind conditions, presenting sporty conditions that can persist into the autumn. It is crucial to observe the airspace restriction from NW to the line Chamanna Segantini- Unterer Schafberg.

**Launch Sites:**
1. **Mountain Station:**
- Location: Next to the mountain station
- Difficulty: Easy
- Optimal Wind Direction: Parallel to the chairlift
2. **Reservoir:**
- Location: Near the water reservoir (15 minutes on foot from the mountain station towards Chamanna Segantini)
- Difficulty: Medium
- Optimal Wind Direction: SW
- Special Note: Steep launch site
**Landing Options:**
1. **Languard Chairlift Valley Station:**
- If the wind is coming from Samedan, land on the south side of the chairlift.
- If the wind is coming from Bernina Pass, land on the north side of the chairlift.
2. **North of Pontresina Train Station:**
- Use only when the Maloja wind is not active.
3. **Punt Muragl:**
- Special Note: In the orange zone (area between high-voltage power lines, Muottas Muragl railway tracks, and the river), only fly below 2100 meters above sea level. The Maloja wind is typically present on normal days.
4. **Küaböda:**
- Location: 2 km southeast of Pontresina, left of the Bernina Pass road.
**Important Note:** From June 1st until after the hay harvest, landing on meadows 1-3 is prohibited.
