The region is known for its sporty conditions, especially until autumn. Pilots must adhere to airspace restrictions from NW to the Chamanna Segantini- Unterer Schafberg line. For more details, visit [Alp Languard](http://malojawind.ch/alp-languard.html). **Launch Sites:** 1. **Mountain Station:** - Location: Next to the mountain station - Difficulty: Easy - Optimal Wind Direction: Parallel to the chairlift 2. **Reservoir:** - Location: Near the water reservoir, a 15-minute walk from the mountain station towards Chamanna Segantini - Difficulty: Medium - Optimal Wind Direction: SW - Note: Steep launch site **Landing Zones:** 1. **Languard Chairlift Valley Station:** - If the wind is from Samedan, land on the south side of the chairlift. - If the wind is from Berninapass, land on the north side of the chairlift. 2. **North of Pontresina Train Station:** - Note: Only use if the Malojawind is not active. 3. **Punt Muragl:** - Note: In the Orange Zone (between the high-voltage line, Muottas Muragl railway track, and the river), fly below 2100m. The Malojawind is usually present. 4. **Küaböda:** - Location: 2 km southeast of Pontresina, left of the Berninapass road. **Important Notes:** - From June 1st until after the hay harvest, landing on fields 1-3 is prohibited. - Always be aware of the Malojawind, which can reach up to 7 Beaufort by 11:00 AM on clear summer days. - Avoid flying over Samedan Airport and maintain a 5 km distance. **Walk and Fly:** Starting from Alp Languard (2330m), a scenic hiking route leads to Muottas Muragl. The hike offers panoramic views of the Piz Palü and Piz Bernina massifs and the picturesque Val Rosegg.
