Description
Located at an elevation of 1016 meters with a height difference of 610 meters, this secondary launch site in Andalusia, Spain, offers a unique paragliding experience. However, be aware that the area is currently endangered by airspace and nature protection rules, particularly bird protection zones from December 1 to July 31, which must be strictly observed.
This launch site is particularly favored when the thermic wind shifts with the sun, making the South-Southwest direction optimal. It is generally safe to use for about an hour before the Poniente wind takes over in the afternoon, which can create dangerous lee effects.
To reach the site, drive on the A-382 towards Jerez, passing a petrol station just outside the town. After approximately 400 meters, turn right at the sign marked "PISTAS" and follow the signs for two more right turns.
