The spot works best during mid to high tide with a rising tide and is optimal when the swell comes from the north and the wind from the northwest. Accessing Wallabi Point is straightforward; drive down Old Bar Road, turn right onto Saltwater Road, and continue until you reach the beach. The area is known for its friendly locals, particularly the younger surfers, and offers instant access to the waves within a five-minute walk. While the weekdays are generally empty, weekends see a few surfers. Be cautious of potential dangers such as urchins, rips, undertow, and rocks while enjoying this laid-back surf spot.
