It is best surfed early to avoid onshore winds, especially when the swell comes from the north, south, or east.
Located on the Pacific Highway, access is straightforward via car, bus, or train. A short 10-minute walk from the caravan park leads to the surf zone, typically breaking on the south side of the breakwall. The atmosphere is enhanced by clean water and a stunning mountain backdrop. While weekdays see few surfers, weekends can get crowded, so respect for locals is essential.
