Seaside Park - New Jersey Seaside Park features a sandy bottom with fun waves breaking both right and left over a sandbar. The spot is accessible with instant beach access, though a fee is required. It works at all tides, with optimal conditions during the hurricane season, producing waves typically ranging from 0.6 to 1.8 meters, occasionally reaching up to 1.8 meters in summer. Located south of Seaside Heights, Seaside Park is a solid S swell magnet, often delivering waves twice the size of nearby spots like Manasquan. While the area can get ultra crowded, especially in summer, it maintains a more relaxed vibe compared to busier northern beaches. The environment is clean, but surfers should be cautious of shallow areas and rip currents. The best time to surf here is from September through March, when conditions are most favorable for catching quality waves.
