Surf Sands

Sands - Sea Bright, New Jersey Sands features a beach break with both right and left waves, characterized by a sandy bottom interspersed with rocks. The waves can be hollow, fast, fun, and ledgey, making it suitable for experienced surfers, especially on bigger days. Access is limited to members or guests of the beach clubs during summer, while spring, fall, and winter offer public access. Located in Sea Bright, the spot is easily reachable within a five-minute walk from parking at nearby beach clubs. The ideal conditions include a swell from the north, south, southeast, east, or northeast, with wind from the northwest, west, or southwest. It works best at low and mid tide during rising and falling tides. Expect a crowded scene on weekends, while weekdays see fewer surfers. Be cautious of localism, rocks, and man-made hazards like buoys, as well as potential pollution in the area.
