Surf Salmon beach

Salmon Beach - South Coast, Australia Salmon Beach features a sandbar wave breaking both right and left over a sandy bottom with rocks. The spot is accessible via a short 5-15 minute walk and is known for its ordinary to fun wave power. It works best at low and mid tide, with optimal conditions from east and northeast winds and swells coming from the west, southwest, and south. This surf spot is easy to locate, just turn right before Windy Harbor. Often, surfers find themselves alone in the water, as it remains relatively empty during the week and sees only a few surfers on weekends. However, caution is advised due to potential dangers such as rips, undertow, rocks, and sharks. A big swell can cause the waves to close out, making it essential to check conditions before heading out.
