Surf Punta las Marias

Punta las Marias - Puerto Rico This reef break features right-hand waves over a coral bottom, providing fun conditions for surfers. Access is straightforward, with a short paddle of 0.5 km from the corner of Calle Park Boulevard and Calle Guerrero Noble. The spot works well at all tides and is best with a North or Northeast swell and Southeast to East winds. Punta las Marias is ideal for surfing, standup paddling, windsurfing, and kiting. While the paddle can be long without a boat, those with access to a dinghy or kayak can enjoy easier access. Mornings are recommended for surfers to avoid the afternoon windsurfers and kiters. The area is generally uncrowded, especially during the week. However, caution is advised due to potential hazards like urchins and sharp rocks. Ample street parking is available, but securing your vehicle is wise.
