Description
Pease Bay - East Lothian, Scotland
Pease Bay features a sandbar wave that breaks both right and left over a sandy bottom with some rocks. This spot is known for its consistency, particularly at the southern end, which cleans up faster. It works best during low and mid tides with rising and falling tides, and is suitable for ordinary to fun surf conditions.
Located just off the A1, Pease Bay offers instant access with parking available near a caravan site. The beachbreak is popular among surfers of all levels, needing a solid swell from the North Sea to perform optimally. The southern end showcases a rocky right, while the northern end offers a fun left, catering to various surfing styles. Although it can be less crowded during the week, weekends may see a competitive atmosphere, especially on good days. Be mindful of the rocky areas while paddling out.
