Accessing Patonga Point is straightforward; drive from Umina over the hill, past Pearl Beach, and park near the camping area. A short walk along the creek leads directly to the break. The spot is typically uncrowded during the week and on weekends, making it a serene choice for surfers. However, be cautious of rocks and man-made hazards like buoys. The optimal conditions include a northeast wind and southwest swell, providing a pleasant atmosphere for both surfing and watching the waves.
