Surf Moo Cows

Moo Cows - Marengo Moo Cows features right-breaking reef waves over a rocky bottom, delivering long walls and occasional barrel sections. The spot is best surfed at low and mid tide, particularly during a rising tide. Access requires a 15-30 minute walk through an old dairy farm, with no public access available. This beautiful surf location is known for its quality waves and a relaxed atmosphere, attracting only a few surfers during the week and weekends. Surfers familiar with the Lorne and Apollo/Marengo area often frequent it. While the waves can be rewarding, caution is advised due to sharp rocks and potential localism. To reach the beach, park along the ocean road and make your way down to the surf, where two excellent breaks await those willing to put in the effort.
