Surf Li'l J-Bay

Li'l J-Bay - Knokke-Heist Li'l J-Bay features a sandbar wave that breaks both right and left over a sandy bottom. The spot is best when a northwest swell coincides with mid to high tides, offering fun to powerless waves. Access is easy, with a walk of less than 5 minutes from the nearest parking. This surf spot shines during select conditions, particularly when the sandbars are optimal and the wind is calm. Located between Knokke and Heist, it is right in front of the dunes, near the swimming pool "de Raan." However, it is important to note that surfing is prohibited during the summer season, and the area is generally empty on weekdays and weekends. Surfers should be cautious of rips and undertow, which can pose dangers in certain conditions.
